This and the other Schubert releases in this series (Schubert: Piano Sonata D, Wandererfantasie D, 4 Impromptus D, Moments Musicaux D and Schubert: Piano Sonatas, Impromptus & Klavierstucke, d. , , , , have been my favorite recordings of these works for nearly 2 years now. I listen to about 8 of them on steady rotation/5(14).

With his Prague D, I don't quite agree with his lugubrious conception of the first movement.
